RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

*  Check-out time is 12 noon.
*Check-in time is 14.00 hrs.  All guests who vacate after this time will have to pay a late check-out fee (50% of the tariff of the room occupied during low-season, and 70% of the said tariff during high-season).
* The room tariff includes all taxes (our hotel is part of the tax franchise system by which our foreign guests are exempted from paying taxes when paying in US dollars.  These must present appropriate documentation as proof of their status at the time of checking in and on being asked for their passports or corresponding identification cards).

* The room tariff includes breakfast which is served in the dining room on the first floor of the hotel (all extras consumed must be paid for by the guest directly on checking out).
* All our beds are either Standard, Twin, Queen or King-size.

*There is an additional charge for each extra bed.
* All our tariffs are subject to change without notice.  Hotel Terraza suite reserves the right to change or modify these tariffs at any time.
* Our Hotel only allows one minor up to the age of five years to share a room with its parents without the right to an additional bed (all additional minors will be charged as an extra).

*  All our guests must be registered at Reception when checking in (access is not permitted to any guest or companion who has not previously registered).

* Access to the rooms by visitors who are not registered at Reception will not be permitted.

* If there is an additional person in the room the cost of occupation will be charged to the account of the client.

* If you wish to prolong your stay please let Reception know 24 hours in advance.

*If you are carrying valuables (jewelry, money, PC’s, passports, tickets, etc.) please take advantage of our security service and use the safes installed in your room and/or our strong box in the Manager’s Office.

*Hotel Terraza Suite DOES NOT take any responsibility for personal items lost or stolen on their premises.

*This Hotel is a NO SMOKING hotel in as much as it is prohibited to smoke in any of the rooms or internal areas or balconies belonging to the hotel, with the exception of the outside areas.

* It is prohibited to play musical instruments, radios or televisions loudly or hold loud parties within the Hotel, the rooms, the gardens and other communal areas.

* Pets are NOT permitted.
* It is NOT permitted to cook or wash clothes in the rooms or on the balconies of the Hotel.

*  All damage to Hotel property caused by guests will be paid for directly by the guest responsible.

*  The Management reserves the right to immediately terminate its contract with any guest who violates any of the above Regulations.
The occupancy of a room once registered, and our facilities having been used, must be paid for in full and cannot be reimbursed even if it has not been occupied for the total duration of the stay.

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please observe the following formalities:

For reservations made 90 days in advance.

For cancellations made between 90 – 60 days before check-in, there will be no charge and 100% of any down-payments made will be refunded minus administrative costs.

For cancellations made between 60 – 30 days before check-in, Hotel Terrazzo Sur will charge 50% of the agreed total price on the basis of the cancellation of a confirmed reservation, and as a consequence, the difference in price, taking into account any down-payments made will be refunded.

For cancellations made between 30 – 15 days before check-in, 100% of the total price of the services confirmed will be invoiced on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For reservations made 30 days in advance

For cancellations made between 30 – 15 days before check-in, there will be no charge and 100% of any down-payments made will be refunded minus administrative costs.

For cancellations made between 15 – 3 days before check-in, 50% of the total price of confirmed services will be charged on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For cancellations made between 72 – 24 hours before check-in, 100% of the total price of the reservation(s) will be invoiced on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For cancellations made between 24 hours and 0 hours before check-in 100% of the total price of the reservation(s) will be invoiced on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For reservations made 15 days in advance

For cancellations made between 15 – 7 days before check-in, there will be no charge and 100% of any down-payments made will be refunded minus administrative costs.

For cancellations made 7 – 3 days before check-in, 50% of the total price of confirmed services will be charged on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For cancellations made between 72 – 24 hours before check-in 100% of the price of the reservation(s) will be invoiced on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

For cancellations made between 24 hours and 0 hours before check-in 100% of the total price of the reservation(s) will be invoiced on the basis of untimely retraction and compensation for losses incurred.

In the case of a No-Show (non-arrival of guest(s)) the total costs of the room(s) booked will be invoiced.  If no notice to the contrary has been received from the guest/agency to the contrary, it is understood that the room will become free on the day following the no-show and may be re-allocated by Hotel Terraza Suite in the normal manner.
